My starting point

I have always known that Camino Somoza is different — a name with character that has been with me for as long as I can remember. As a little girl I used to think: “what a strange name I have.” It sounded different to me, but over time that difference turned into pride, and I ended up falling in love with it. And here we are twenty years later: what once felt strange is now my driving force and the signature behind everything I create.

For a long time, I’ve felt the urge to build up something that truly represents me — not just a brand, but a space where I could pour out my ideas, my obsessions, and my way of understanding style. So Camino Somoza is, on one hand, me without a filter: my life on the run, suitcases that never rest, my sleepless nights spent between ideas and leather, and on the other hand Camino Somoza is, and lives on, in every person who chooses these pieces and turns them into an extension of their own identity.

For me, a belt changes everything — it’s not just an accessory, it’s the accessory. It brings any look to another level, shifts the energy of whoever wears it, and speaks louder for you than your words. You can put on the simplest outfit in the world, but with the right belt you’re screaming to me who you are and what you stand for. And I love that — that something so small can hold so much power.

More than a name on a label, Camino Somoza is my own skin turned into design.
